Partner with us

Does your company share the same vision as we do? Are you looking for an effective charity to support? Why not join our corporate partners, trusts, foundations and institutional donors that are providing critical support vital in making it possible for Vision Aid Overseas to deliver sustainable eye care services and affordable glasses to people across Africa.

If you would like to partner with Vision Aid Overseas please email [email protected] or call 01293 535 016.

Why partner with Vision Aid Overseas?

1.2 billion people worldwide can’t see properly simply because they need glasses and yet 75% of all visual impairment is preventable or curable.

According to the World Health Organization restoring sight is one of the most cost-effective health interventions to reduce poverty.

We know this, and that is why it is our mission: "To enable people living in poverty to access affordable glasses and eye care".

To our achieve our mission we focus on primary eye care, on the front-line in the community, and uncorrected refractive error, those who need glasses.

We train eye health professionals and setup Vision Centres to ensure the changes we make are for the long-term. We focus on helping the poorest communities and to help children. And we do this all in partnership with, and according to the needs of, local governments and community groups.

To see the real difference we make, please watch this video about Zaria, from Sierra Leone.

Here is an example of the impact we have had in the last year, between 2019 to 2020.

    Triathlon for Vision Aid

I am running the London Triathlon on August 6 2022 and seeking donations for Vision Aid, on behalf of our remarkable friend Ciara Devine. Ciara worked as an overseas team leader for Vision Aid and the crucial work they provide across the world for something that can be so easily taken for granted.
I will be entering the Olympic distance Triathlon in London on Sunday 7 August. Ciara was a total one-off and she is missed an unimaginable amount.
