We are proud to announce that three of our amazing trustees, and a close colleague from one of our partner organisations, have been given Vision Excellence awards.

The awards are provided by the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB) and they recognise the people who have significantly contributed towards the goals and outcomes of the VISION 2020: The Right to Sight global initiative, launched in 1999.

The VISION 2020 initiative sought to promote: “A world in which nobody is needlessly visually impaired, where those with unavoidable vision loss can achieve their full potential.”

Congratulations to:

Professor Hannah Faal;

Dr. Naomi Nsubuga;

Professor Redda, from our partner organisation GTM in Ethiopia;

Ronnie Graham.

We are very grateful to our award winning trustees and Professor Redda, for sharing their expertise and for the commitment and dedication they have shown over the last 20 years to providing eyecare to those who need it most. We look forward to working with them long into the future and we hope they inspire you as much as they inspire us!
