Volunteer:
All our volunteers are members of Vision Aid Overseas and we believe passionately in the need to ensure that volunteers are involved in the planning and delievery of our work.
Access to our Members Website and opportunities to network with Vision Aid Overseas volunteers and activists:
As a Member you will be helping to fund and sustain our work, but you are also making a decisive choice to support international eye care development. We provide our Members with opportunities to network and learn about eye care in developing countries and the opportunity to become an active international eye care champion.
Exclusive Member Events:
Vision Aid Overseas organises exclusive events for our Members such as the Annual Vision Aid Overseas Conference. We give our Members the chance to hear from leaders in international eye care and to engage with their work. Many members also work closely with the Vision Aid Overseas management and Board to shape the strategic direction of the organisation.
Keep in touch:
We make sure our Members are the first people to hear about any opportunities to support Vision Aid Overseas' work and we regularly communicate with our membership. Whether you are interested in volunteering, fundraising or raising awareness of our work and cause, by being a Member you are putting your hand up and saying "I care".

Membership of Vision Aid Overseas costs just £36 per year.

Terms of Membership
Membership of Vision Aid Overseas costs £36 per year or £15 for students.
Vision Aid Overseas collects Membership subscriptions on 1 September and our Membership scheme runs from 1 September to 31 August every year. To join you must make a payment for your first year's membership or complete a Direct Debit Form. Your next subscription will be due on 1 September. However, if you pay for your first subscription after 1 April and before 31 August we will not collect your second subscription until the following year. (Example: John pays his first subscription for membership in 2011-12 on 20 March 2011. His next subscription payment is due on 1 September 2011. However, Mary pays her first subscription for membership in 2011-12 on 2 April 2011. Her next subscription payment is due on 1 September 2012.)
Direct Debit
The easiest and most convenient way to pay your membership is by Direct Debit. Download a Direct Debit Form and return it to Vision Aid Overseas to set up your annual payment. (Please note, Direct Debits for membership will be paid on 1 September every year.)
